Rajasthan Budget Announcement: On Friday, February 10, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot presented the state budget. CM Gehlot had already promised the public that this time’s budget 2023-24 will be focused on women-youth and will fulfill the aspirations of the public. After the budget came out, CM Gehlot seems to be fulfilling his promise. Let’s know the 10 big things of Rajasthan Budget 2023-24-

1. All Competitive Exams Free
Giving a big gift to the youth, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given the facility to apply free of cost in all the recruitment examinations in Rajasthan. Now all recruitment exams will be free. There will be a ‘one time charge’ for all the entrance exams. Provision of Rs 200 crore for this. Not only this, about 100 job fairs will be organized in government college campuses for the youth. At the same time, a special task force will also be formed for incidents like paper leak.

2. Free education from 1st to 12th
In Rajasthan, along with girl students, boys will also be given free education up to class 12. Under RTE, children up to 12th can get free education.

3. Announcement regarding employment
Now ‘Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme’ is being implemented to ensure employment in rural areas as well as in seven cities. In the coming year, 100 days employment will be provided to the urban people. About 800 crores are going to be spent on this.

4. Government job to the children orphaned in Corona
During the Corona period, there were thousands of children who lost both their parents and are now living in orphanages or with relatives. To secure the future of these children, the Gehlot government has decided to provide government jobs to all. It has been announced in the budget.

5. Girl students will get scooty
The Rajasthan government has announced in this budget that two-wheelers will be given to girl students. That means all the girl students of Rajasthan will now have a scooty.

6. There will be medical colleges in all the districts
CM Ashok Gehlot has announced that there will be medical colleges in all 33 districts of Rajasthan. That is, it has been announced to set up medical colleges in all the remaining districts.

7. Financial assistance of Rs 30 thousand to research students
Many beneficial announcements have been made for the youth and students in the budget. One of these is the government giving financial assistance of up to Rs 30,000 to research students.

8. Free bus service for students
It has been announced in the budget that now bus travel up to 75 kilometers will be free for all the students of Rajasthan. They will not have to take tickets for this.

9. These families will get Annapurna food packets
Food security families will get free Annapurna food packets. In this packet, there will be a lot of ration items including pulses, sugar.

10. Increase in sum insured per family
Apart from this, it has been announced to increase the insurance amount from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 25 lakh per family under the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Scheme.
